Code for Africa (CfA) is hosting a free online course on fact-checking and Information Manipulation and Interference (IMI) to equip professionals with the skills/knowledge needed to navigate today's information landscape. The course explores fundamental aspects such as transparency and ethics, and delves into the fundamentals of fact-checking, highlighting its crucial role in ensuring accuracy and accountability. It also provides practical information and techniques to ensure practical mastery of proofing various content formats. The training starts on 15 April 2025. Application deadline: 28 March 2025.
